FAQ'S
What’s the difference between a restoration and a resto-mod?
A restoration focuses on returning a vehicle to its original factory condition using period-correct parts. A resto-mod keeps the classic look but upgrades key systems — like the engine, suspension, wiring, and brakes — to modern performance and reliability standards.
How long does a typical resto-mod build take?
Build times vary depending on the level of customization, parts sourcing, and fabrication needed. Most full resto-mod projects take several months to a year. We provide a detailed timeline after evaluating your vehicle and build goals.
Can you swap in a modern engine like an LS, Coyote, or Hemi?
Absolutely. Engine swaps are one of our specialties. We handle the complete integration — wiring, cooling, exhaust, fuel systems, tuning, and driveline components — to ensure everything performs like a modern vehicle.
Do I need to bring my own car, or can you source one for me?
You’re welcome to bring your own vehicle, but we can also help source a suitable classic for your project. Whether you’re starting with a solid foundation or want us to find the perfect candidate, we’ll guide you through the best options.
